As part of its focus strategy, Berlac AG has sold its majority holding in De Rem Lacke, Farben GmbH (hereinafter De Rem) to former minority shareholder Carl-Hanns Friedrich with effect from 23.4.2015. The parties have agreed that no details of the purchase price should be made public.

The Berlac Group and De Rem remain on friendly terms and will continue to realise both current and future projects on a joint basis where this is expedient. As De Rem no longer fits in with Group strategy, the Berlac Group is very pleased to have found an ideal buyer for its holding in the company who intends to continue developing the company at its headquarters in Selbitz.
